MILTON — On Sept. 4, 2011, Stephanie Freisner delivered a stillborn baby girl named Lillie Elizabeth Freisner. That day she lost everything, she said. She lost a child and eventually lost her 17-year marriage. Her son, 10 years old at the time, went into a deep depression.

It has taken Freisner seven years to create a new life with her fiancé Kyle Wright, have another daughter and start her own business.

Thursday night, Freisner dedicated the first little free library in memory of her daughter Lillie. Freisner said she plans on at least two more little free libraries in Lillie's honor, locations to be determined.

Freisner has wanted to do something to honor Lillie for a long time, she said. The little library offered her a way to memorialize her daughter and to continue her healing of a tragic event that she says she will never get over.
