Crestview Chamber P.I.L.O.T. Committee kicks off the '18-'19 year with donation

CRESTVIEW — The Professional Inspired Leaders of Tomorrow met Aug. 16 to kickoff the new chamber year.

Attendees brought along school supplies that were donated to children in the care of Crestview's HOPEhouse.

Guest speakers included Tim Bryant of the Crestview Chamber and Merlyn Applewhite of Lutheran Services Florida – HOPEhouse.

The Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals P.I.L.O.T. committee is a group that encourages and enhances professional development in young leaders of the Crestview Community in three ways:

  • by providing social interaction and networking opportunities
  • presenting topics related to personal and professional enhancement
  • and participating in civic duties and activities to strengthen and develop our community

 The committee meets for lunch on the third Thursday of each month. The next P.I.L.O.T. meeting will be held at noon Sept. 20 at David's Catfish House.
