NAVARRE — The Green Thumb Nursery will be offering their plants for sale to the public on Sept. 1.
The Navarre Garden Club is open the first and third Saturday of every month, from 9 a.m. to noon on the patio of Sound Orthopedics, 8418 E Bay Blvd, the bright blue building on Highway 399, just west of Highway 87.
Be sure to stop by and view the varied supply of plants. There are butterfly plants, vegetables, sun lovers and shade lovers, trees and shrubs, and lots of pretty flowers.
For gardening information, there is usually a knowledgeable club member there, who can answer questions or help with gardening problems.
Proceeds from the sale supports the scholarships and the community beautification and education projects of the Navarre Garden Club. Be sure to visit online at navarregardenclub.org to view the various projects the club is involved in.
