MILTON — According to the city of Milton’s public information officer Pamela Holt, two 4 foot nuisance alligators were spotted at the bayou, south of boat launch at Carpenter’s Park. New caution signage is posted prominently in the park. Please watch children while in the park and do not feed any wildlife. Safety is key to a fun summer.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife, a total of 274 major unprovoked alligator bites reported in the state of Florida from 1948 through 2017.
