MILTON — Masked suspects broke into a Milton resident’s home Thursday night, according to the Milton Police Department. Though suspects fired shots, MPD reports no injuries.
Chief of Police Tony Tindell announced that at about 11:30 p.m. on July 26 Milton Police Officers responded to an armed home invasion at a residence in the 5300 block of Overbrook Drive. Multiple 911 calls were received in reference to shots being fired and people outside the residence.
When police arrived, they determined that multiple suspects came to the home, shot into it and at a vehicle as it was leaving the residence. No one was reported injured at either location.
Suspects were described as black males wearing masks. The suspects took items from the victims at the scene and fled on foot.
This case is currently under investigation.
MPD requests anyone with information contact the Milton Police Department at 983-5423. Those that need to remain anonymous can contact Santa Rosa Crime Stoppers at 437-STOP. Callers to Crime Stoppers could receive a reward of up to $3000.
