William M. Gentle Jr., passed away June 25, 2018, in Milton, Florida. He was born January 8, 1923, to William and Hassie Gentle in Goodwill, WV. William served over 20 years in the U.S. Navy and was an active member of the VFW in Milton.
He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Josie Gentle, sister; Betty (George) Moulthrop, sons; Douglas (Rowena) Peterson and L.D. Rollo, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wives; Vivian Henderson Gentle and Ada Reierson Gentle, daughters; Darlene (John) Suggs, Donna Rollo, and grandson; Danny Suggs.
A visitation will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at National Cremation & Burial Society located at 5641 Hwy 90 W., Milton, FL 32583. An interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Memory Park Cemetery.
