Lakeview Center welcomes new staff

PENSACOLA — Lakeview Center, Inc., welcomes several new medical staff members to its team.

Renee McCorcle, PMHNP, works in the adult outpatient setting at Lakeview Center’s main campus. She also

examines patients for psychiatric consultations for Baptist, Gulf Breeze and Sacred Heart hospitals.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Missouri – Columbia, and is Suboxone trained. She is

certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the American Nurses Association.

Warren H. Scott, M.D., provides addiction treatment at The Friary addictions treatment facility of Lakeview

Center in Gulf Breeze. He also provides adult psychiatry care and outpatient opioid addiction treatment at The

Summit Group – a specialty practice of Lakeview Center located in Pensacola. He obtained his medical education

from Meharry Medical College and did a residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is licensed by the

U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for Suboxone treatment and is a member of the Alabama Medical

Association and Lauderdale County Medical Association. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and

Neurology.

Dr. Tanya Theriault, D.O., treats medical disorders that can affect the mind, mood and behavior and specializes in

children and adolescents. She considers trauma and psychosocial stressors in treating immediate concerns and

also reviews past developmental history as far back as intrauterine development. She holds a doctorate in

Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University of Osteopathic Medicine, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and is

a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP). Dr. Theriault is double board

certified in both adult and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

William Whiting, D.O., FAPA, is board certified in general psychiatry with added qualifications in geriatric

psychiatry. He works at Summit Group a specialty practice of Lakeview Center and specializes in the treatment of

patients older than 65, or persons with memory disturbances and related dementias and will accept medically and

psychiatrically complicated patients. He obtained his medical education at Des Moines University, Des Moines,

Iowa and did a residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Norfolk, Virginia. He is a member of the Florida

Psychiatric Association, American Association of Geriatric Psychiatrists, Florida Geriatric Society, and a Fellow of

the American Psychiatric Association.
