MILTON — Santa Rosa County Commissioner Sam Parker will attend the National Association of Counties 2018 National Conference as the voting delegate for the BOCC.
At the June 11 commission meeting Commissioner Bob Cole announced Parker would represent the Board at the conference on July 13 in Nashville.
“I have had the pleasure of representing Santa Rosa for several years,” Cole said. “I have asked Mr. Parker to carry our delegation this year.”
Commissioner Rob Williamson asked Parker to support the only Florida presidential candidate for the NACo, Barbara Sharief. Parker asked if the commission could look at all candidates and submit their own votes for the June 14 commission meeting.
