PACE — The Azalea Garden Club of Pace is holding a free event for kids ages 4 through 10 years old 9 a.m. to noon June 9 at Benny Russell Park Pavilion A, 5417 West Spencer Field Road, Pace with their accompanying parent.
Volunteers will present an educational program at each table on one of the four topics; Birds, Bees, Butterflies and Bugs.
After visiting each table, the children will receive a certificate of completion. Children will take about 10 minutes at each station to hear about topic and in addition, work on a take home projects.
All children may attend in a family as long as they meet the required age limits and are accompanied by a parent.
Azalea Garden Club members, along with the Francis M. Weston Audubon Society and Santa Rosa Bee Keepers Association will be on hand to make this a fun learning experience. Call Jean at 380-2256 or Sandra at 623-6321 for more information.
