NAVARRE — Santa Rosa County and Volkert in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation have initiated a feasibility study for the Navarre community access road. This is the beginning step in a multi-year process for the assessment of the need and possible location for a new east-west corridor, north of US 98/SR 30.
Over the next few weeks Navarre residents may notice traffic loops being installed or people inspecting the roads and right-of-way within the project area north of US 98. This is in advance of analyzing potential corridors for safety and operational improvements.
Contact Planning and Zoning Development Director Shawn Ward at shawnw@santarosa.fl.gov or 850-981-7082 for additional information about the feasibility study.
