Maryellen Pugliese, 76 of Milton, Florida, passed away on Holy Thursday, March 29, 2018 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Mary Harris, husband Alessio "Rocky" Pugliese, and nephew Harry Cahill.
Maryellen was born on September 23, 1941 in Camden, New Jersey, but was raised in the Manayunk, Pennsylvania area. She loved to travel, see new places and meet new people. She and her husband Rocky spent many years living in Reno, Nevada, where she worked as a dealer for the casinos. She eventually retired to San Marcos, California, before returning back to the Milton area.
Maryellen was a devout Catholic and a very spiritual, loving woman. She attended in her last days St. Rose of Lima, in Milton, until she could no longer travel the short distance to mass.
She is survived, by the heart of her world, her three children, William "Billy" Ehly, Jr. of Coalinga, California, Mary Rogers Ehly of Milton, Florida, and Benjamin "Benny" Ehly of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, three grandchildren, Theresa Cloeren, Brittney Camacho, Benjamin Ehly and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lia Rose, and Paul. Maryellen is survived by her sister Delores Cahill of Ohio and nieces Donna and Kathleen. She will be truly missed by her extended family and many friends.
A mass will be held in her memory at St. Rose of Lima in Milton, Florida on April 23, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with Father Dennis officiating.
