3 things to do this weekend in Santa Rosa County

1. EXPLORE ARCADIA MILL. Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site will host “Florida’s Flora,” a nature tour of Arcadia Mill starting 10 a.m. April 21 at 5709 Mill Pond Lane, Milton. Join Arcadia Mill staff for a tour teaching and showing how past inhabitants of Northwest Florida used native plants that can be found throughout the site. This event is appropriate for all ages, and kids’ nature scavenger hunt activity sheets will be available after the tour. Trail-appropriate attire, bug spray and sunscreen is recommended. Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for kids. Call 626-3084 for more information.

2. EAT CRAWFISH. The Milton High School Band will host their 3rd annual Crawfish Festival 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 21 on the Park Avenue side of the MHS campus located at 5445 Stewart Street in Milton. The event features a Louisiana-style crawfish boil, children’s area and vendor booths. Entertainment includes The Rowdies, Chasing Fridays and MHS Blackwater Beats Jazz Band. The MHS Band Parent Association also will be selling shish kabobs as well as hamburgers, hotdogs and Coca-Cola products. Other food vendors will be available. Tickets are $5 at the gate. Children age 5 and under enter the event free. All proceeds will be used to fund band needs, including equipment and instruments. 3. WALK FOR A CAUSE. The Milton/Pace Relay For Life will start 6 p.m. April 21 and last all night at the Pensacola State College Milton campus. Proceeds from the event will support the American Cancer Society. To sign up, visit the Relay for Life of Milton/Pace Facebook page.
