This is James. I just want to make a follow-up comment I made on the courthouse resolution. I left off the part that the county commissioners have already bought property on Avalon Blvd…That’s what I was making the comment on where they just ignored us and do what they want. DID THE CITY MANAGER REAR END A CAR?
This is Eric Thompson. I have a question. City Manager Brian Watkins a couple years ago I recall. Did he rear end a vehicle? Wasn’t he driving a city vehicle during the crash and also why wasn’t something done with him like it was done with the city officer who struck the mailbox on Berryhill Road? I believe he was terminated. If we could look into that and maybe pull the police report, I believe it was done within the city limits. Thank you. Have a blessed day.

COMMISSIONERS SHOULD ONLY GET VOTES FROM THEIR OWN DISTRICTS
This is Bill. I agree with James on Speak Out about the county commissioners doing what they want. They vote the way they feel like they want to. This is why I express that we should have county commissioners be voted in their own district not countywide. I wish someone would put a petition out and have them change the law to have county commissioners voted in by their district only. Thank you very much.
