MILTON — Here is a list of scheduled faith-based services and events.

UPCOMING 

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE: 

  • Sunday: 9 a.m. Sunday school; 9:45 a.m., coffee and doughnut fellowship, CCC; 10:10 a.m., worship service, sanctuary.
  • Monday: 5 p.m. Sewing Date for Kenya Hygiene Kits in Shofner Hall.
  • Tuesday: 6 p.m. praise band practice, sanctuary.
  • Wednesday: 5 p.m. fellowship dinner, CCC; 6 p.m. adult Bible studies; 6 p.m. kids’ activities children’s sanctuary; 6 p.m. youth Bible study youth room; 7:15 p.m., Chancel Choir practice Sanctuary.
  • Thursday: 8 a.m. breakfast at Chick-Fil-A for high school and college, Highway 90.
  • Friday: 7 a.m. yard sale (Christian Faith and Hope), children’s sanctuary.
  • Saturday: 7 a.m. yard sale (Christian Faith and Hope), children’s sanctuary; 11 a.m. Megan’s Love (Picnic with the Homeless), kitchen.
  • Pace UMC is a congregate meal site for COA – Seniors, Monday through Friday in our gym CCC classroom

EAST SIDE BAPTIST CHURCH: East Side Baptist Church, 4884 Ward Basin Road, is holding their 76th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, April 15. Lewis Miller, Regional Catalyst with the Florida Baptist Convention will be sharing from God's Word and Dr. Bill Davis, Chair of the Worship and Music Department at the Baptist College of Florida will be leading the music. Several students from the college will also be participating. The BCF has a great music program. Middle and high schoolers interested in learning more may come and talk with Dr. Davis and these college students. Sunday school begins at 8:45 a.m., worship at 10 a.m., and a covered-dish luncheon will follow. Everyone is welcome. To God be the glory

RECURRING 

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.

FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. regular Sunday worship services

DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday’s Reflect, Share, Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.

PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.

MILTON FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD: Worship 10:30 a.m. Sundays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 6163 Dogwood Drive, Milton. Details: 623-2854.

BAGDAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 8:30 a.m. contemporary worship service, 10 a.m. traditional worship service at 4540 Forsyth St., Bagdad. March 25 there will be a Palm Sunday and Holy Communion service during both services.

SHEPHERD'S HOUSE MINISTRIES INC. OUTREACH DELIVERANCE MINISTRY CHURCH: Sunday school, 9:30 a.m.; Morning Worship 11 a.m.; and Wednesday night Bible study, 7 p.m. at 5739 Stewart St., Milton. Bishop Cecil Downing is the founder and senior pastor. Details: 530-4011.
