Rebecca Grimes marries Joseph Loeffler

Rebecca Michelle Grimes, daughter of Captain and Mrs. Michael Grimes, USCG (retired) of Fayetteville, Georgia was married to Joseph Thomas Loeffler, son of Mr. Joseph Loeffler of Frederick, Maryland and Mrs. Anna Gorski of Bowie, Maryland on January 13, 2018. Rebecca is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William (Bill) C. Jones of Milton.

The ceremony was held at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, Maryland, with Father John Mudd officiating.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Suzanne Murray of Columbus, Ohio, as Matron of Honor with her niece, Miss Annabelle Murray of Columbus, Ohio, as flower girl.

Serving as Best Man was Mr. Joseph Loeffler, father of the groom. Groomsman was Mr. Ryan Cochran of Frederick, Maryland, nephew of the groom.  The Ring Bearer was Mr. Bryson Murray of Columbus, Ohio, nephew of the bride. 

Vocalists and musicians, Mr. Joseph Jancuk and Ms. Meghan Jancuk of Frederick, Maryland, friends of the bride and groom, provided ceremony music.

Scripture readings were read by Mrs. Lisa Jarboe of Frederick, Maryland, sister of the groom and Miss Brooke Frederick of Laurel, Maryland, cousin of the groom.

The bride holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in English Education from Old Dominion University. She is employed by Montgomery County Public Schools as an English teacher.

The groom graduated from West Virginia University and holds a Communications Studies degree. He is employed by the Department of Army as a program analyst.

A dinner reception with dancing was hosted by the bride’s parents and was held at Ceresville Mansion following the wedding ceremony. Reception music was provided by The Dan McGuire Group, friends of the groom. The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday evening at The Red Horse Steakhouse in Frederick, Maryland.

The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic and reside in Frederick, Maryland.
