Landline phone service restored in Santa Rosa County

UPDATE: The Santa Rosa County Commission announced the landline phone service is running again.

MILTON — Santa Rosa County landline phones are experiencing intermittent service outages, according to the County Commission. The landline providers have been notified.

Those needing to call 9-1-1 and receive a "fast busy" signal should try using a cellular device or try calling again.

The duration of this outage is not known at this time.

This service issue is different than that currently affecting Escambia County, according to the county press release.
