Navarre alum completes basic military training

NAVARRE — Air Force Airman 1st Class James Stanley graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. 

The airman completed eight weeks’ training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. 

Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Stanley is the son of Dennis and Cathy Stanley of Pace, brother of Jessica Adler of New Market, Ala., and husband of Sydney Stanley of Navarre.

He is a 2010 graduate of Navarre High School and earned a bachelor's degree in 2016 from the University of West Florida.
