MILTON — The Milton Rotary Club recently hosted speaker Mark Long, Academic Program recruiter for the University of Florida. His presentation, "Degrees That Matter," gave tips on how students should decide to go to college.

There are 145 accredited colleges in Florida with different programs so students can decide which path works best for them, whether a 4-year degree or an associate’s degree. Mark said either way employers are looking for critical thinkers, those that think outside the box.

The UF's job placement in its eight bachelor degree programs at the Milton campus, Long said, is 100 percent.
