GULF BREEZE — Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has hired orthopaedic trauma and fracture care specialist Dr. Eddie N. Powell II.
Powell has clinical interests in orthopaedic trauma, pelvic and complex fractures, malunions and nonunions, fracture care and the polytraumatized patient.
He earned his medical degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at West Virginia University in Morgantown, W. Va., followed by his fellowship in orthopaedic trauma at Alleghany General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Penn.
As part of Andrews Institute, Powell now welcomes new patients at his offices located at Baptist Medical Towers in Pensacola and at Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze.
