Woodbine sets marriage conference

PACE — Woodbine United Methodist Church will host the XO Marriage Conference, which is designed to revive romance and bring married couples closer together.

The conference is set 7-9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 and 9-11:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at Woodbine Church, 5200 Woodbine Road, Pace.  The two-day event, which will feature many guest speakers and a question-and-answer portion with Jimmy and Karen Evans, is free to attend.

A live simulcast will feature Jimmy and Karen Evans along with their friends Max Lucado, Craig Groeschel, Miles McPherson, Tim Ross and Jefferson Bethke.

Participants can learn how to improve communications, identify the strengths of both spouses, resolve conflict and increase harmony, and ignite the passion and intimacy in your relationship. The event will culminate with a renewal of vows ceremony.
