Santa Rosa County students recognized

MILTON — Here are highlights involving area students:

Grant Locklin, a senior management major from Milton, is among more than 1,400 Harding University students included on the dean's list for grades achieved during the fall 2017 semester.

Dr. Marty Spears, university provost, publishes the dean’s list each semester to honor those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must carry12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Harding University is a private Christian university located in Searcy, Arkansas.

Stephanie Arnold, of Harold, has earned a spot on the fall 2017 dean's list at Valdosta State University.

Students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the dean's list. Developmental studies, transients and graduate students are not eligible for dean's list status.

John Jacob Jung, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jung of Pace, was named to the dean’s list at Pensacola Christian College for academic achievement during the 2017 fall semester. This was a result of earning a B average or higher.

Pensacola Christian College is a liberal arts college with approximately 4,800 students.
