SANTA ROSA COUNTY 4-H QUILTING WORKSHOPS: Santa Rosa County 4-H will offer a "Past, Present & Future 4-H Quilting Class" workshop series for current, former or prospective 4-Hers as well as adults. The series, in partnership with the Home & Community Educator volunteers, will teach the basics of quilting and prepare students for quilting projects. The cost is $10 per class ($40 total). Here is the schedule: Feb. 10 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) — cutting the quilt; March 10 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) — sewing it up; and April 14 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) — putting it all together. YOUTH BASEBALL, T-BALL, SOFTBALL REGISTRATIONS: Gospel Projects Youth Athletic Club has opened baseball, T-ball and girls softball registrations. Parents can register their children for these sports from Tuesday, Jan. 16 through Saturday, Feb. 17. Gospel Projects provides programs for players ages 3 ½ to 16 for girls and ages 3 ½ to 14 for boys.
