MILTON — The Milton Rotary Club recently completed its annual dictionary distribution to area third-grade students.
For the second year in a row, the club distributed dictionaries to seven area schools. This year, over 800 dictionaries were given out, bringing the total distributed by the club to 4,824.
"Watching the excitement of the students when they received their dictionary and discover all of the information contained in the dictionary makes the annual project worthwhile," a Rotary media release states. "The teachers are appreciative and usually incorporate them into their daily work right away.
"This distribution is one of the highlights each year for the Milton Rotary Club."
