Maggie Renfroe, a musical theatre major from Gulf Breeze, has made the president's list at Coastal Carolina University for the fall 2017 semester.
To qualify for the president's list for high academic achievement, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and must be enrolled full-time.
Coastal Carolina University is a liberal arts institution located in Conway, near the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
More than 2,000 students were named to the president's and dean's lists at Jacksonville State University for their outstanding academic performance during the fall 2017 semester.
Benjamin Naselius of Navarre was named to the president's list.
A student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade point average while attending full-time to be named to the president's list. Full-time students earning a GPA of 3.5-3.99 are named to the dean's list of their respective schools.
Jacksonville State is located in the Appalachian foothills midway between Birmingham and Atlanta. JSU offers more than 150 courses of study, including over 40 online programs, at the undergraduate and graduate level.
More than 4,240 Baylor University students were named to the dean's academic honor roll for the 2017 fall semester.
Among them were Hannah Trish Ditter, of Navarre, and Katharine Ann Mahaffey, of Pace, who study in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Students honored on the dean's list are Baylor undergraduates with a minimum grade point average of 3.7 while enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.
Baylor is a private Christian university in Waco, Texas.
A local student has made the dean's list for the fall 2017 semester at Maryville College.
Among the honorees is Kathryn Liggett of Pace, who majors in Outdoor Studies & Tourism.
Consideration for the dean's list is open to full-time students who have a grade point average of at least a 3.6 in all coursework and no grade below a C.
The college is located in Maryville, Tenn., between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Knoxville, the state's third largest city.
