MILTON — Approximately 300 inline skaters from across the country gathered at Skateland of Milton for the 5th Annual Emerald Coast Inline Skating Challenge, which kicked off Saturday morning and ended Monday at King Middle School.

Top skaters from various teams, including a U.S. team and the Emerald Coast Speed Team, competed for $2,500 in prizes.

“Previous skaters have just qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2018 Olympic Games in February,” Councilman Jeff Snow said.
