Navarre Garden Club sets environmental program

NAVARRE — The Navarre Garden Club will present "Holiday Habitat for your Backyard," an environmental program with guest speaker and Okaloosa Master Gardener Richard Hickenbotham.

The program begins 10 a.m. at the Navarre Elks Club, 2002 Elks Way (behind the Shrimp Basket) in Navarre.

Attendees can learn about providing water for birds and butterflies; plants that provide food for birds and butterflies; and trees and shrubs that provide shelter from storms and food for wildlife.

Light refreshments will be served. A ways and means table will have supplies available to purchase.
