MILTON — Here are highlights involving area students:

PACE RESIDENT MAKES DEAN'S LIST

Three hundred sixty-four students have been named to the Union University dean's list for the fall 2017 semester. Among them is Caleb Morgan of Pace.

The list includes full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average on a four-point scale.

Founded in 1823 and affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention, Union University is characterized by Christ-centered teaching and learning. Union offers liberal arts training in more than 100 majors and programs of study along with professional programs in business, education and nursing.

About 3,300 students are currently enrolled.

CHAMPLAIN RECOGNIZES NAVARRE RESIDENT

Ben Love, of Navarre, has been named to the Champlain College dean's list for the fall 2017 semester.

Students on the dean's list have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Love is majoring in Computer Forensics & Digital Investigations.

Founded in 1878, Champlain College is a small, not-for-profit, private college in Burlington, Vermont, with additional campuses in Montreal, Canada, and Dublin, Ireland.

Champlain offers a traditional undergraduate experience from its campus overlooking Lake Champlain and over 90 residential undergraduate and online undergraduate and graduate degree programs and certificates.
