UPCOMING
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE: These events take place at 4540 Chumuckla Highway, Pace, unless otherwise noted:
- Saturday, Dec. 23 — 11 a.m. Meagan’s Love, a ministry with the homeless
- Sunday, Dec. 24 — 9 a.m. Sunday school for all ages; 9:45 a.m. coffee fellowship; 10:10 a.m. worship service — nursery provided for all services; 5 p.m. candlelight Christmas Eve communion service; and 7 p.m. candlelight Christmas Eve communion service
- Monday, Dec. 25 through Jan. 1: office closed
- Sunday, Dec. 31 — 9 a.m. Sunday school for all ages; 9:45 a.m. coffee fellowship; and 10:10 a.m. worship service — nursery provided for all services.
RECURRING
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: FUMC of Milton will hold three worship services on Christmas Eve, Sunday, Dec. 24. At 10 a.m., there will be a Fourth Sunday in Advent Service with pastor M. Kathryn Knight giving the sermon titled, "How Can This Be?" using scripture Luke 1: 26-38. At 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. there will be Candlelight Communion Services with the sermon titled, "What Child is This?" using scripture Luke 2: 1-20. There is also a Handbell Prelude 30 minutes before both afternoon services. On New Year ’s Eve, there will only be one service, at 10 a.m. Details: 623-6683.
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.
DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday’s Reflect, Share, Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.
PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.
MILTON FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD: Worship 10:30 a.m. Sundays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 6163 Dogwood Drive, Milton. Details: 623-2854.
BAGDAD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH: 8:30 a.m. contemporary worship service, 10 a.m. traditional worship service at 4540 Forsyth St., Bagdad.
