NAVARRE — Officials want to expand the Holley Navarre Seniors Center program offerings.
The center's mission statement is to "Enhance the quality of life for seniors by providing a safe place for them to meet for socialization and education." To do this, the center needs more educational classes and fun, structured activities.
The center’s wish list includes volunteers and instructors to teach line dancing, round dancing, square dancing, the two-step, Zumba, and, perhaps, a little soft shoe as well as classes in rug hooking or rug braiding, quilting, origami and gardening.
Members are also interested in having a computer and smart phone class.
In addition, the center has several authors and other members who would like to know how to write and how to get their books published.
Contract Margaret at mvrrussell@gmail.com to learn how to help at the center.
