1. ATTEND A CONCERT. The Imogene Theatre will host the Honey Island Swamp Band Dec. 15 from 7-9 p.m. at 6866 Caroline St. in Milton. This concert marks the 10th anniversary of the Honey Island Swamp Band, which formed in San Francisco after Hurricane Katrina displaced the founding members from New Orleans. 2. WATCH A HOLIDAY MOVIE. Big Screen on the Blackwater will return 6:30 p.m. Dec. 15 on South Willing Street in downtown Milton. Santa Rosa County Federal Credit Union and The GEO Group present this free outdoor movie series. This week’s movies are "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Mickey's Christmas Carol."
3. RACE FOR A CAUSE. Pace High School Student Government Association will host Santa’s Race Through Pace, an "Amazing Race"-style game throughout Pace where teams will be given clues to solve and get to the finish line first. A cash prize will be awarded to the winning team. The race will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dec. 16, starting at Pace High School, 4065 Norris Road. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be games, music, food and inflatables. Cost is $5 per adult and free for all children under 7. All proceeds will go to Danny Gilroy — a husband, father of four children and pastor of The Way Church in Pace, who recently was diagnosed with an auto-immune illness — and his family.
