MILTON — Experts from the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Santa Rosa County Extension Office will offer a class on native trees. The session, free to attend without pre-registration, is available at two locations:

10 a.m. Dec. 8, Santa Rosa County UF/IFAS Extension Office, 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton

10 a.m. Dec. 15, Gulf Breeze Library, 1060 Shoreline Drive in Gulf Breeze
Mary Salinas, UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County residential horticulture agent, will discuss how native trees can be a positive addition to a landscape. Learn about trees that perform well in the region along with how to select and properly plant a tree.
