PACE — Anthony Michael Hutson, 29, homeless, and Ricky Lee Kirksey, 37, of Frisco City, Ala., are charged with felony armed robbery, felony possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and misdemeanor possession of drug equipment, according to the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office.
At approximately 10 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a Belvedere Circle address in Pace regarding a robbery with a firearm.
As deputies were on the way, the victim told dispatch he was following the suspect's vehicle in his own vehicle after the robbery. The victim also said the suspects threatened him with a firearm but he never saw it, according to the arrest report.
When lawmen stopped the suspect’s vehicle, two ordered the passenger, Hutson, to exit the vehicle and they detained him. A deputy pointed his gun at Kirksey while another deputy ordered him to exit but Kirksey reportedly did not comply. A deputy then removed Kirksey from the vehicle and handcuffed him on the ground, according to the arrest report.
Deputies reportedly found approximately 3.75 grams of methamphetamine in Hutson’s pocket and 6 grams of methamphetamine in Kirksey’s pocket along with a hypodermic syringe.
The victim said his friend, a female, invited him to her residence. They each showered, according to the report, before Hutson and Kirksey arrived. The female left the shower and ran toward the living room and let the two in the house.
They found the victim on the female’s bed and told him to empty his pockets, according to the report.
One of the suspects allegedly said, "You know that is my brother’s old lady."
After the victim emptied his pockets, they allegedly gave him his car keys and told him to leave and never come back. The victim said they went through his bag and took his money.
While Kirksey started leading the victim outside, Hutson told the victim he had a gun, according to the report.
The victim left and went to a neighbor’s house and had them call the police.
Both Kirksey and Hutson reportedly waived their Miranda Rights.
Kirksey said they went to the female’s house and she opened the door for them because they know her. He and Hutson went into the bedroom where the victim was and Hutson told him to leave, according to the report. Prior to the victim leaving he mentioned having his car keys in a duffel bag, so Hutson went through it to get the victim’s keys.
Hutson said he went to the house with Kirksey. Hutson said he walked in the residence and Kirksey walked to the back bedroom at which point he heard yelling. Hutson said once he heard yelling he walked out into the yard. Hutson said the cash on him was for his business, according to the report.
The female said Hutson and Kirksey told her to invite the victim to her house. She answered the door after exiting the shower and they told her to stay in the living room. She said they went into the bedroom where the victim was and then escorted him out. She said they asked her if she was going to say anything. She told them, "No," and then they left.
The female changed her story several times and had multiple inconsistencies, according to the report. When confronted, she gave consent to see her Facebook messages.
