Dear editor,
Mr. [Bob] Cole is now [Santa Rosa’s] county commission chairman — better than Robbie Williamson.
But Mr. Cole said his goals were infrastructure improvements, lessened traffic congestion, new recreational facilities, drainage improvements, growing the economy and tourism attractions; please, the tourists come for the weather and the beach.
Well, Mr. Cole has been a commissioner since 2002 — that’s 15 years — where has he been?
This type of service is just typical of the commission and has been cheating us taxpayers. Mr. Cole’s goal should be to guard taxpayers’ money, ask if new projects benefit the majority of taxpayers and reduce waste and the size of the county government.
Items such as consulting fees just burn up taxpayers’ money and duplicate consulting fees happening right now.
