3 things to do this weekend in West Florida

1. HIKE A TRAIL. The Western Gate Chapter of the Florida Trail Association will gather to hike the Naval Live Oaks trail from 8-10 a.m. Nov. 26. The group will meet at the main visitors center for the Gulf Islands National Seashore, 1801 Gulf Breeze Parkway. The hike will be 3.4 miles. The FTA asks participants to bring sunscreen and water. Pets are allowed, but they must be on a leash. The group will then meet for breakfast afterward at IHOP.

2. SHOP FOR THE HOLIDAYS. The Santa Rosa Farmers Market will hold their holiday market 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 25 at Pace Presbyterian Church, 4587 Woodbine Road. The market will include Christmas crafts for kids, make and take crafts for adults, treats, a hot cocoa bar, holiday gift shopping, the option to order Christmas cookies and pies, holiday music, antiques, vintage finds, fresh produce, honey, jams, pickles, coffee, and much more.

3. SUPPORT LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT. My Brothers and Sisters is organizing the first Beyond The Badge Ball, celebrating Northwest Florida’s Law Enforcement agencies. Beyond The Badge will be held from 6-11 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Hilton Conference Center, 12 Via De Luna Drive, Pensacola Beach. It will be a formal event honoring law enforcement of Escambia, Baldwin, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and surrounding counties. General admission is $35 for singles, and $50 for couples.
