PACE — Santa Rosa County Tax Collector Stan Nichols recently talked with the Pace Rotary Club about two new services offered by his office.
First, you can now go to the Tax Collector's Pace location (on Chumuckla Highway) to submit your application for a Concealed Weapons Permit; call or go online to make an appointment. The staff will help you with the application process; the Department of Agriculture will conduct the background check; and turnaround time is approximately two weeks.
Second, the Tax Collector's office now has a terminal inside each location that allows you to access available staffers who may be at a different physical location.
Finally, Stan noted that the county's fiscal year just ended and his office was able to return almost $500,000 to the county.
Pace Rotary meets at 7 a.m. Thursdays at Stonebrook Golf Club, 3200 Cobblestone Drive, Pace.
