MILTON — The Milton Rotary Club recently welcomed Meredith Powers from Locklin Tech as its guest speaker.
The school's mission is to prepare students for current and emergent high-demand careers with their training programs. The campus serves both high school and adult students with over 20 programs that could lead graduates to a "career in a year."
"Locklin also has top-notch laboratory and shop facilities that simulate real-world methods and processes to make the transition from school to employment effortless," a Rotary Club media release stated.
Locklin Tech is certified by the Council on Occupational Education and undergoes a thorough certification process every five years.
"It was a great presentation and we appreciated hearing their story," the release said.
