Gulf Breeze resident joins Ashland philosophy club

MILTON — Madeleine Emholtz of Gulf Breeze has joined the philosophy club at Ashland University. The 2014 graduate of Gulf Breeze High School is majoring in history.

The Philosophy Club provides students with the opportunity to discuss various philosophical concepts and ideas. It is an open forum in which members can examine their current belief systems and evaluate them with those of their peers.

The club invites guest speakers at various points during the year to lecture on current affairs such as political ethics and religious issues.
