Dear editor,
We give a heartfelt thank you to everyone in the Santa Rosa Community who made Healthy Start's 10th Annual Baby Shower a resounding success. Over 300 participants enjoyed the event with the help of all of your hard work and dedication.
Not only did we have Santa Rosa County volunteers and vendors, but [also] many Escambia County groups. Each of these kind people, companies and organizations gave their time, talent and products so that this baby shower would benefit everyone who attended.
The community was informed of the Healthy Start baby services that are available at no charge to all pregnant women and newborns. New and expectant parents learned about the importance of prenatal care, nutrition, well baby care, infant health, immunizations, fire prevention, car seat safety and safe sleep.
Participants also had a chance to learn about all of the valuable services available in this great community of ours.
We encourage everyone to participate again next year to benefit those who were unable to attend this year.
