MILTON — Milton High's homecoming parade proceeded down Stewart Street before a crowd of parents and Milton High students on Friday.
Cortland Finnegan was the grand marshal for the parade. The homecoming queen and court also rode down Stewart Street.
Milton Mayor Wesley Meiss and Councilman Casey Powell were among those who participated in the parade.
Several floats encouraged Milton High School's Panthers football team to defeat the Crestview High Bulldogs team in the upcoming game.
However, Crestview remained undefeated following a 40-10 romp past Milton Friday night at Haywood Hannah Stadium.
The Milton High School band, the Mighty Black and Gold, as well as the Hobbs Middle School band provided musical entertainment in the parade.
