Milton sets Domestic Violence Awareness Month event

MILTON, FL The second annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month campaign will kick off October 4 at 4 p.m. at the city fountain, located at the corner of Elmira Street and Highway 90 in downtown Milton.

The fountain will be colored purple to signify awareness throughout the month of October.

Naval Air Station Whiting Field Commander Todd Bahlau, Milton Mayor Wesley Meiss, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson, Milton Police Chief Tony Tindell will be in attendance. Volunteers from Lakeview Center, Santa Rosa Kid’s House and NAS Whiting Field’s Fleet and Family will also be in attendance.
