Gratitude for 2 city council members

Dear editor,

It is so hard to make a stand in this world that we live in today.To express what you believe in, and go against the flow of what others think.

Our voice is the only thing that we have left that is ours to express.

I would like to thank two such women who did just that [recently]: Pat Lunsford and Sharon Holley. You are the salt that I was talking about.

Don't forget the pot has to have some saltiness to give it some taste.
