UPCOMING
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PACE: These events take place at 4540 Chumuckla Highway, Pace, unless otherwise noted:
- Saturday, Sept. 30 — Emmaus Training for Lay Directors & Spiritual Directors, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., CCC classroom and Stephen Ministry office; Meagan’s Love (picnic with the homeless), 11 a.m. Contact the church if you can lend a hand, 994-5608.
- Sunday, Oct. 1 — Sunday school at 9 a.m. for all ages; nursery provided. Coffee fellowship in the gym at 9:45 a.m.; worship service 10:10 a.m.; children’s choir practice 4-5 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 4 — Wednesday night supper from 5-6 p.m. (call the office to register); 6 p.m. Bible study for all ages

MARGARET STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST SEMINAR: Margaret Street Church of Christ in Milton, 6745 Margaret St., will hold a free Bring Teach Keep seminar Oct. 13-15. The itinerary is as follows:
Oct. 13
- 7-9 p.m. — Introduction to "Bring Teach Keep" Model of Evangelism
Oct. 14
- 9-9:50 a.m. — Introduction to the Bible timeline, how to begin a home study
- 10-10:50 a.m. — More Bible Timeline and handouts
- 11-11:50 a.m. — Why Jesus came when He did, fulfilling Galatians 4:4
- 11:50 a.m. to 1 p.m. — lunch break
- 1-1:50 p.m. — The fulfillment of the promise of the church

Oct. 15
- 9 a.m. — The role and necessity of a prepared system specifically for the new babe in Christ

RECURRING
FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Friends begins at 6:15 p.m. Details: 623-6683.
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MILTON: Worship services are 9 a.m. Sundays, followed by a coffee social at 10 a.m. and Sunday school at 10:30 a.m. at 5203 Elmira St., Milton. FPC Milton's Open Hearts Ministry, a Bible study group for adults with special needs, meets 6 p.m. Wednesdays.
DESTINY BIBLE CHURCH: Worship service is 10 a.m. Sundays. Wednesday Bible Study is 7 p.m. at 4867 W. Spencer Field Road, Pace.
PLEASANT GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH: Events include 10 a.m. Sunday school, 11 a.m. worship service, 6 p.m. men’s and women’s studies and 7 p.m. worship service. Wednesday night Building Tomorrow’s Church meetings are at 7 p.m. The church is located at 11130 Highway 87 N., Milton.
