On Sunday, Sept. 24, the latest installment of the “Star Trek” Franchise, “Star Trek Discovery” will air on CBS after professional football and “60 Minutes.” Subsequent episodes will air on the CBS all access app allowing fans to view the show at their leisure.
Pensacola’s Star Trek fan club (USS Continuum) along with Milton’s Star Trek fan club (USS Harry Mudd) will be hosting a “Star Trek Discovery” premiere party at The Elbow Room located at 2213 West Cervantes St in Pensacola.
This local beer and wine pub and eatery is owned and operated by, “some real hardcore Trek fans,” said Capt. Christopher Monteleone, USS Harry Mudd’s president and commanding officer.
The local establishment will open its doors at 6:30 p.m. to host members of the two fan clubs as well as select guests.
“The guests are some of the area’s biggest Star Trek fans,” said Capt Jay Gallops president and commanding officer of the USS Continuum.
