NAVARRE — The Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office charged Sean Alexander Banks, 19, and Parker Tray Ragsdale, 18, of Navarre with three counts of felony burglary and three counts of misdemeanor larceny.
Authorities charged a third individual, a juvenile, with dealing in stolen property, theft of a hand gun and possession of narcotics and paraphernalia, according to a Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office press release.
Between 1 and 5 p.m. Aug. 23, Santa Rosa County deputies responded to several burglaries in the area of Verano and Mercado Streets in Navarre.
In a separate incident, at approximately 4 p.m., deputies responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 2300 block of Avenida del Sol. After circulating the area, a deputy spotted Banks and Ragsdale, matching a witness’ description.
The deputy searched them and located a back pack with a fixed-blade knife and sheath, two women’s rings, two bandanas, a resealable bag with change, and a bottle of juice for an electronic cigarette.
Deputies conducted a search warrant at the teens’ apartment at Cayo Grande. There, deputies located a runaway juvenile as well as multiple hand guns, numerous electronics, ammo and narcotics.
Banks is currently in the Santa Rosa County jail on no bond, so is Ragsdale on an $11,000 bond. Due to the third’s juvenile status, the Sheriff’s Department cannot release the name or arrest report.
Deputies were able to resolve several cases due to these arrests, according to Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Rich Aloy.
