MILTON — At a public ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 23, two businesses, State Farm and Canary, will provide Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office families with home security systems as part of the Protect the Protectors campaign. This will take place at the Board of County Commissioner Board Room, 6495 Caroline St. in Milton.
These two businesses work together to provide deputies with Canary home security systems so they can monitor their homes while on duty.
For this campaign, State Farm and Canary will provide 200 home monitoring systems, free of charge, to Santa Rosa County patrol deputies. These monitoring systems are enhanced with motion sensors, air monitors, sirens and video.
Guests will include State Farm representatives and Santa Rosa Sheriff Bob Johnson.
“I can’t thank State Farm and Canary enough for their tremendous show of support for all first responders,” Johnson said. “In today’s environment, this gracious donation offers a piece of mind and one less thing to worry about while on patrol.”
