PACE — Diamond Street at Seaport Road in Pace is closed to through traffic for three months. Brown Construction is beginning a utility construction project for the Pace Water System.
Detours will be in place to route eastbound traffic north on Queens Court to Dukes Terrace and westbound traffic north on Auckland Road to East Seaport Road.
Local traffic on Diamond Street will be allowed to enter the work zone for driveway access. The initial closure will be the intersection of Diamond and Seaport, followed by 300-foot sections of the roadway heading east toward the end of Diamond Street.
The detour route will change as construction progresses to allow for the least impact to traffic flow possible.
