MILTON — NAS Whiting Field's Morale Welfare and Recreation Fitness Center hosted their annual "Color Me American" 5K Fun Run on Saturday.
People on the sidelines threw colored powder on participants as they ran. The event, held on base, also offered a 1-mile run for children.
The U.S. Navy Commissary supplied water and first aid needs to runners.
