1. ENJOY WATER PLAY. The city of Milton is hosting the Blackwater WaterFest 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 15 at the new event area on South Willing Street in downtown Milton. Children 12 and under can enjoy bouncers and water slides free of charge.
2. WITNESS MAGIC. The Imogene Theatre is hosting a family-friendly magic show presented by Pittman Productions 7-9 p.m. July 14 at 6866 Caroline St., Milton. The show will consist of magic, juggling and comedy. Tickets for adults are $10 online and $12 at the door; tickets for children are $5 online and $10 at the door.
3. RUN A 5K. NAS Whiting Field is hosting the Color Me American 5K Fun Run 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. July 15 at 7180 Langley St., Milton. The run will start promptly at 8:30 a.m., and organizers ask that participants arrive 15 minutes prior. The start location is at Golf Course Road, Building 2895. The event will also offer a 1-mile children’s Color Run. Pets are not allowed in the color run. Participants can pre-register at the Whiting Field Fitness Center or just show up on race day.
