Santa Rosa Extension sets citrus class

GULF BREEZE — Experts from the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Santa Rosa County Extension will offer a class on citrus for homeowners.

This class is free to attend without pre-registration and is available at two locations:

  • 10 a.m. July 14, UF-IFAS Santa Rosa County Extension Office, 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton
  • 10 a.m. July 21, Gulf Breeze Library, 1060 Shoreline Drive in Gulf Breeze

Mary Derrick, UF-IFAS Santa Rosa County Extension residential horticulture agent, will discuss citrus varieties that thrive in the panhandle, how to plant and care for them, and some common pests and diseases and how to control them.
