God is using Trump

Dear editor,

Another Fourth [of July] — thanks be to God and those men and women who gave their lives for freedom.

This “deplorable,” and many proud Americans, supporters of President Donald J. Trump, declare that slamming him is deplorable! I believe God orchestrated his election. God eliminated 16 other qualified candidates early on.

The [talk] about his tweeting; the left-wing impeachment hysteria; the ilk of “Morning Joe” and Mika; Kathy Griffin; Snoop Dogg; Johnny Depp; the Hollywood liberals; CNN; the vicious media attacks; fake news; Madonna wanting to blow up the White House; the New York Shakespearian play; and the Southern Poverty Law Center listing 917 hate groups, et al. are the “bad guys.”

Why all this? I believe God is using President Trump to rattle the establishment; [be] a threat to it!

He probably doesn’t realize he’s being used. While some think him dictatorial, a bully, I agree with Sarah Huckabee Sanders and radio talk show host, Lionel. The former calls him “fighter,” the latter “genius.” He shouldn’t quit tweeting. If the media ceased their negative reporting — 90 percent since his election (Obama’s only 41 percent) — he wouldn’t have to respond. Thank God for a gutsy president.

Too bad the discontents can’t discern America’s mess exists because Almighty God is not acknowledged, considered or honored as did our Mayflower settlers. They had an inward zeal for the propagation of the gospel so desperately needed today! The Mayflower Compact includes “In the Name of God and for the advancement of the Christian faith . . .”

America was founded by people who loved God! 

Wake up, America! Rise up, Christians! God is our only hope. Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, is coming again. He’s what America needs to make her “great again.”

This goal is attainable only as President Trump and we seek God’s wisdom — who gives liberally to all who ask, praise God!

God bless us all as only He can. Maranatha!
